Practice Schedule and Location

3rd/4th Grade Boys - Monday and Thursday at 4:00-5:15PM (4th grade) and 5:30-6:45PM a (3rd grade) at Washington St. Park

2nd/3rd/4th Grade Girls - Monday and Wednesday at 5:30-6:45PM at PrairieWind Park Upper Field

5th/6th Grade Boys - Tuesday and Thursday at 5:30-7:00PM at PrairieWind Park Lower Field

5th/6th Grade Girls - Monday and Wednesday at 4:30-6:00PM at PrairieWind Park Lower Field

7th/8th Grade Boys - Tuesday and Thursday at 5:00-6:30PM at Viroqua High School Field

7th/8th Grade Girls - Tuesday and Thursday at 5:30-7:00PM at PrairieWind Park Upper Field

Teams

Players will register for a team based on their grade level and gender, 2nd-8th grade. Teams are formed in this manner in the spring season only, to match how the other teams in the league are formed.   

** 2nd graders with a birth year of 2016 should register for U8 in-house soccer see above link ** 

Combined grade teams will be formed if there are not enough registrants at a particular grade level (eg. 7th and 8th grade team)  

Players will be notified of their team placement after the registration period is complete and the coach has been determined.  

Games

Teams will participate in the Tri-Rivers League. This is a youth recreational soccer league offered only in the spring. The league includes the following cities: Arcadia, Bangor, Caledonia, Decorah, Holmen, Melrose-Mindoro, Onalaska, Sparta, La Crescent, Tomah, Viroqua and West Salem. 

Teams will play 8 games (4 home and 4 away) over the course of the season, on Saturdays and/or Sundays.

Game play begins April 13th and continues through May 19th 

Coaches may schedule additional intraclub scrimmages as well. Dates TBD. 

Uniforms and Equipment

Jerseys can be ordered during registration. They will be handed out prior to the first game. Players will keep these at the end of the season. If your player has a jersey from last season they do not need to purchase a new one 

Required Equipment

Shin guards (worn under socks) 

Soccer socks 

Warm clothes when the weather is cold, to be worn under jerseys 

Soccer cleats (must be soccer and not football/baseball/softball) 

Registration Fees

2ND - 4TH grade $145.00

5TH - 8TH grade $160.00

Coaches

DUF depends on our club families and community members to coach our youth! We will provide coach training opportunities and instruction. If a coach is not in place by the end of the registration period an email will be sent to all parents at that level requesting a coach! 

Registration fee is waived for parents who coach their child’s team! 

A coach’s meeting/clinic will be held prior to the season
